It includes power walking & running with intervals of strength and body toning exercises using exercise tubing, the stroller and the environment. This unique program also provides moms with the opportunity to meet other moms, engage in weekly playgroups with their babies, and enjoy monthly Mom’s Night Out. Community Appearance Commission @ Assembly Hall of Village Hall

The Community Appearance Commission (CAC) reviews and makes recommendations regarding plans for single family homes and fences.  The Community Appearance Commission meets at the sub-committee level with developers in the Assembly Hall of Village Hall located at 395 Magnolia Road. Inspections by Commission members are done after the developers’ meetings. Each sub-commitee works two consecutive weeks and takes off the third week. On the first Tuesday of each month, the entire Commission meets at 8:00 am in the Council Conference room of the Village Hall.

Learn a gentle, but challenging approach to yoga including proper breathing, gentle stretching, gradual strengthening, mental focus, and the art of relaxation. This class is for beginners and those who want a gentle, mindful yoga practice. All participants will need to bring a yoga mat and a towel. Yoga is done in bare feet, so please wear comfortable clothing that allows for flexibility. Pre-registration is required. Cost: $30 residents; $60 non-residents.

Stroller Strides @ Rassie Whicker Park

Stroller Strides is a total fitness program that moms can do with their babies. It includes power walking & running with intervals of strength and body toning exercises using exercise tubing, the stroller and the environment. Taught by certified and specially trained fitness instructors, it is a great workout for any level of exerciser. Class meets every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Rassie Wicker Park in Pinehurst. This unique program also provides moms with the opportunity to meet other moms, engage in weekly playgroups with their babies, and enjoy monthly Mom’s Night Out. This is free and open to the public. 

Sangha – Thich Nhat Hanh Tradition @ Raven's Wing Healing Center
